Base Salary
$133k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations of consumer product features.
- Build and maintain resilient APIs for the member-facing mobile app.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve member pain points.
- Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance with the QA team.
- Proactively improve the reliability and scalability of systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents outside regular hours.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience in a production environment.
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
- Comfortable working across the stack and eager to learn new technologies.
- Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching systems.
- Product mindset with a focus on experimentation and measuring impact.
- Exposure to large-scale architecture patterns and appreciation for clean code.
- Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment; Fintech experience is a plus.
