Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services in Kotlin for the product platform.
- Design and implement interfaces between internal components and public clients using REST, gRPC, and Kafka.
- Implement new features end-to-end from design discussions through rollout.
- Develop backend functionality for the landing page, including interactive gamification features.
- Work with data-center machines and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Help improve reliability and performance through monitoring, caching, and availability improvements.
- Collaborate with Kotlin developers, AI specialists, and a cross-domain product team.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with Kotlin.
- Good understanding of backend fundamentals and willingness to learn cloud and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with API design using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Some experience deploying code to AWS, Azure, or GCP, or strong interest in learning.
- Knowledge of Docker and basic infrastructure is a plus.
- Terraform or Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Interest in esports is a plus.
