Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain Canvas Apps and basic Model-driven Apps using Power Apps and Power Fx.
- Create Power Automate cloud flows for approvals, notifications, data updates, reminders, and business process automation.
- Connect applications to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and other enterprise data sources.
- Implement error handling, retry logic, logging, monitoring, role-based access, and data access controls.
- Support solution packaging, environment movement, deployment, regression testing, defect fixing, and release activities.
- Gather and clarify stakeholder requirements, identify risks, provide status updates, and translate business needs into maintainable technical designs.
- Maintain technical documentation, app inventories, release notes, user guidance, and support materials.
- Follow EY and Microsoft Power Platform standards for security, privacy, naming, documentation, governance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, technical teams, and the Power Platform Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business information systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development or closely related application development or support experience.
- Practical experience creating Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and data-driven business solutions.
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, SQL Server, Excel, APIs, or other enterprise data sources is preferred.
- Understanding of Power Platform environments, connectors, solutions, deployment, governance, data models, relationships, permissions, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Canvas Apps, basic Model-driven Apps, Power Fx, forms, galleries, controls, responsive design, cloud flows, approvals, scheduled flows, expressions, and error handling.
- Understanding of simple APIs, authentication concepts, data mapping, access control, and solution lifecycle practices.
- Interest in Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted development, intelligent process automation, and emerging Microsoft AI technologies.
- Preferred exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, generative AI, prompt engineering, responsible AI, AI Builder, Power BI, SQL queries, relational databases, Git-based source control, Agile delivery, and DevOps concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
