Senior Software Engineer

$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build APIs and infrastructure powering Capitalize’s platform
- Create meaningful product functionality and develop new product initiatives
- Design and build APIs
- Work with data processes and enhance internal business functions
- Test new ideas and support rapid feature development
- Collaborate cross-functionally from Figma through deployment
- Contribute to growth-oriented initiatives and help scale systems and processes
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- Expertise in backend technologies, especially modern Java and JPA
- Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with monitoring solutions and troubleshooting best practices
- Ability to contribute independently with ownership and a proactive mindset
- Experience developing products through rapid feature iterations and tight QA feedback loops
- Willingness to take on growth-oriented initiatives beyond core feature work
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- DevOps or cloud development experience is a bonus
- Experience scaling systems and processes efficiently is a bonus
- TypeScript and Node experience is a bonus
