Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain critical payment services, applications, hotel payment portals, and secure payment-card components.
- Design and deploy AWS infrastructure and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps and automation practices.
- Ensure delivered solutions are robust, scalable, performant, and secure.
- Explore optimization opportunities using AI and developer-assistance tools and build proofs of concept for new technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, developers, and Tech Leads while sharing knowledge and influencing technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience in mature organizational environments.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud architectures and excellent proficiency in Java.
- Good proficiency with VueJS or another modern frontend framework.
- Significant experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with CI/CD environments, DevOps practices, API design, and API integration.
- Prior experience with high-traffic transactional platforms, payment environments, and PCI DSS is preferred.
- Initiative, curiosity, rapid prototyping ability, collaborative working style, and the ability to understand and challenge technical and business solutions.
