Responsibilities
- Define and design end-to-end architectures for Java and web-based enterprise applications.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation blueprints.
- Guide development teams on architecture best practices, design patterns, and technology selection.
- Remain hands-on in development activities when needed and lead by example.
- Optimize application architectures for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Review technical designs and code to enforce architectural standards and quality practices.
- Collaborate with development teams, security specialists, operations, and client stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes and technical standards.
- Contribute to architecture documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Support project delivery through onsite collaboration with clients and partners.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of Java development experience with a background in architectural design or technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience with web technologies such as Angular.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile project delivery practices.
- Leadership and mentoring experience with development teams.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; French is an asset.
