Responsibilities
- Develop native mobile applications for iOS and Android, with a primary focus on iOS.
- Drive app development, technical decisions, and new ideas.
- Own technical decisions across both mobile platforms with attention to performance, architecture, and maintainability.
- Act proactively as an advisor to clients and represent Valtech in day-to-day collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with clients, product, design, and a senior cross-functional team.
- Use AI-powered tools responsibly to support development, code quality, and efficiency across the mobile development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in mobile app development.
- Strong native iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, Xcode, MVVM, and The Composable Architecture.
- Solid Android development experience with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Experience with both iOS and Android native application development; React Native is not used for this role.
- Preferred experience includes Git, Fastlane, Firebase, Crashlytics, Alamofire, GRDB, Core Data, MSAL, Auth0, Google ML Kit, Adyen, Contentful, Usercentrics, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, TestFlight, Apple Business Manager, and Google Play Testing Tracks.
- Understanding of mobile UX/UI design and iOS and Android platform design principles.
