Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products, solutions, enhancements, updates, and issue resolutions for existing systems.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, with emphasis on development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Write application code according to established coding standards and software engineering best practices.
- Develop unit tests and automated test scripts.
- Use coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for code generation, review, and test creation.
- Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas and solutions.
- Work independently and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically less than 2 years of experience developing products and platforms using UI or backend web technologies.
- Experience developing software with Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, testing methodologies, coding best practices, and UI and backend architectures.
- Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation, generative AI technologies, and AI agent development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, ownership, accountability, urgency, and collaborative ability.
