Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations of consumer product features.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand member struggles and devise creative solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Work with the engineering team to uphold high technical standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents outside regular working hours.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Comfortable working across the stack and eager to learn new technologies.
- Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching systems.
- Possess a product mindset with a focus on experimentation and measuring impact.
- Exposure to large-scale architecture patterns and appreciation for clean, maintainable code.
- Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment; Fintech experience is a plus.
