Base Salary
$202k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend infrastructure for real-time streaming use cases.
- Scale global streaming infrastructure while balancing system performance and reliability.
- Develop automated evaluation frameworks for streaming protocols and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate systems and deliver platform capabilities.
- Diagnose connectivity issues, performance regressions, and service incidents across clients and backend services.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and the team’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software development experience, including networking and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in a backend programming language such as Go or Java, or a comparable language.
- Familiarity with HTTP, TCP/IP, and UDP networking protocols.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience developing, testing, or optimizing autonomous vehicle systems or related technologies.
- Preferred: advanced understanding of cloud systems and cloud providers such as Cloudflare, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: experience with L3/L4 to L7 networking solutions and advanced networking concepts including TLS/SSL, DDoS, WebSockets, reverse proxies, and QUIC.
