Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship AI-powered automation tools and internal applications for manual business processes.
Architect and maintain LLM prompt pipelines, agentic workflows, tool-calling integrations, and RAG systems.
Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Snowflake, internal APIs, and SaaS tools to AI workflows.
Partner with Process Analysts to translate business requirements into engineering specifications and incorporate user feedback.
Own production reliability through monitoring, alerting, and ongoing evaluation of AI output quality.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI models, frameworks, APIs, and other tooling.
Contribute to standards for prompt management, evaluation frameworks, model selection, and AI system architecture.

At least 6 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years designing, building, and deploying LLM-based or AI-powered applications in production.
Strong Python skills for APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
Practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, prompt engineering, function calling, multi-step reasoning, and tool use.
Familiarity with SQL, data transformation, and cloud data warehouses, with Snowflake preferred.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect and cloud infrastructure, with AWS preferred.
Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and ship iteratively in a fast-moving environment.
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search is preferred.

Four days per week in the office under an office-first work model.
