Responsibilities
- Prototype, develop, evaluate, and ship generative AI experiences for health and wellbeing applications.
- Build practical evaluation methods and evidence-based systems for testing and measuring quality.
- Develop functional prototypes and proof-of-concept demos to validate ideas quickly.
- Build and deploy performant on-device or full-stack systems and user-facing experiences.
- Apply machine learning fundamentals across the full lifecycle from research and incubation through production features.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver customer-facing health and wellness products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to use AI-assisted tooling to write clean, performant code while maintaining code quality and software development best practices.
- Hands-on experience building and evaluating machine learning solutions for user-facing applications.
- Technical expertise in generative AI, including areas such as large language model architectures, knowledge retrieval, and natural language understanding.
- Deep expertise with LLM-based evaluation systems and evidence-based test development and quality measurement.
- Experience building functional prototypes or proof-of-concept demos.
- Preferred education includes an MS or PhD in computer science, machine learning, health informatics, biomedical engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience or strong interest in consumer digital health and wellness products.
- Experience with performant on-device or full-stack systems and rapid prototyping using Swift or SwiftUI is preferred.
