Base Salary
$137k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of foundational ML systems for logistics.
- Own ML systems for assignment and fulfillment estimation.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Establish best practices for model development and deployment.
- Define and lead DoorDash's AI vision for logistics.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for logistics ML.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in building and deploying production-scale ML systems.
- Strong machine learning fundamentals applicable to large-scale systems.
- Fluency in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with mission-critical ML models in production.
- Ability to lead complex technical projects and influence stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous problem spaces.
