Responsibilities
- Design and build real-time fraud monitoring, alerting, and automated mitigation systems
- Hunt emerging threats including cashback farming, card testing, merchant abuse, friendly fraud, money laundering, and malicious behavior
- Develop and tune fraud rules, behavioral signals, and scoring logic
- Build internal tools, dashboards, and scripts to improve team effectiveness
- Define scalable fraud strategy and operational playbooks
- Coordinate with engineering, customer experience teams, and external business partners to mitigate fraud risks
Requirements
- Strong white-hat hacker mindset and enthusiasm for identifying scam tactics, anomalous patterns, and attacker behavior
- Exceptional ability to find hidden signals in noisy transaction and behavioral data
- Hands-on programming skills and experience building tools or detection systems
- Ability to take ownership and drive results in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Fintech, neobank, or issuer processor experience is a plus
- Exposure to web3/crypto-related or consumer fraud patterns is a plus
- Experience building or scaling early-stage fraud operations teams is a plus
- Knowledge of card and payment fraud mechanics, including card testing, BIN attacks, friendly fraud, and merchant collusion, is a plus
