Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, secure, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
  • Analyze, remediate, and verify STIG findings and support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.
  • Architect and maintain secure DevSecOps infrastructure, version control systems, automated testing frameworks, and continuous monitoring solutions.
  • Build automated deployment and configuration-management workflows using containerization and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
  • Develop and maintain OCI-compliant container images and deploy microservices to cloud or on-premises Kubernetes platforms.
  • Integrate vulnerability scanning, static and dynamic code analysis, dependency checks, policy enforcement, and continuous security controls into delivery pipelines.
  • Support unit and integration tests, application platform environments, software enhancements, security patches, and defect resolution.
  • Apply reliability engineering, monitoring, logging, load balancing, performance tuning, and production resilience practices.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, software engineering, and other multidisciplinary stakeholders in Agile Scrum development environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive hands-on experience in DevOps, software engineering, or a closely aligned discipline.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines across multi-environment architectures.
  • Experience implementing, monitoring, remediating, and verifying STIG findings and federal cybersecurity controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Helm charts in secure, mission-critical environments.
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience, particularly with Terraform, including provisioning, scaling, testing, and securing cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with Harness, Jenkins, GitLab, SAST tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, and Xray, and DAST tools such as OWASP ZAP.
  • Experience with OCI-compliant containerization tools including Docker, Buildah, and apko, plus container hardening, dependency scanning, and runtime governance.
  • High proficiency with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Background in SRE practices, service health monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, reliability automation, load balancing, logging, and production resilience.
  • Experience developing software in Agile Scrum environments and understanding the full SDLC, secure development, quality gates, and release management.
  • Ability to provide proof of U.S. citizenship and have or attain a Government Agency Suitability Clearance.
  • Preferred experience with Twistlock/Prisma Cloud Compute, Splunk, Groovy, Spring Boot Java, JavaScript, AWS, RDS, IAM, VPC networking, and Everything-as-Code methodologies.
