Base Salary
$116k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Temporal workflows and Go services for the Zero Touch Platform.
- Build foundational platforms and tools that automate cloud operations and enable rapid, consistent, secure, and cost-effective service provisioning.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, CI/CD, on-call rotations, and incident response.
- Debug and resolve issues in cloud-native distributed systems and use production experience to identify automation opportunities.
- Influence engineering teams to adopt improved architectural patterns and provide documentation that enables self-service.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required because the position involves classified federal data.
- At least 5 years of applicable experience is required.
- Experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar managed languages.
- Experience operating Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms for infrastructure provisioning, software builds, testing, and releases.
- Experience using observability tools involving application performance monitoring, logging, and metrics.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated production ownership involving uptime, SLOs, on-call operations, and incident leadership.
- A builder-operator mindset and empathy for software engineers are expected.
