Responsibilities
- Develop Temporal workflows and Go services on the Zero Touch Platform.
- Write performant, maintainable, and clear code while participating in code and design reviews.
- Build foundational platforms and tools for rapid and secure service provisioning.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to identify automation targets.
- Debug and resolve issues in cloud-native distributed systems.
- Influence the engineering organization to adopt improved architectural patterns.
- Provide robust documentation to promote self-service among engineers.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to handling classified federal data.
- 5+ years of applicable experience in a relevant field.
- Experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in managed languages like Python, Go, C#, or Java.
- Experience operating in Kubernetes platforms like AKS or EKS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms for automating infrastructure and software processes.
- Experience using observability tools for debugging.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- A builder-operator mindset with proven production ownership.
- Empathy to support the needs of software engineers.
