Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end stack for factory testing, traceability, and process control, including test-station data capture, databases, dashboards, and APIs.
- Build robust and scalable AWS tooling to deliver factory data to internal teams.
- Set standards for quality, security, observability, and software releases.
- Shape the technical roadmap and make architecture decisions as production volume increases.
- Provide technical leadership and grow engineers through hands-on work and influence.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and shipping complex production systems.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience, including independently designing and shipping scalable, reliable tooling.
- Backend and data engineering experience with REST APIs, event-driven and distributed services, Go or Python, databases, data pipelines, and strong SQL skills.
- Experience building platform and infrastructure tooling at scale using AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability practices.
- Technical leadership experience setting direction and roadmaps and developing engineers through hands-on influence.
- Manufacturing test or operations experience, such as production-line work, hardware testing, SPC, or contract manufacturing, is preferred.
