Base Salary
$230k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and derive software design, performance, and interface requirements.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, integrate, and maintain complex software systems.
- Develop algorithms, database queries, data repository interfaces, and software solutions meeting performance and functional standards.
- Write and review software and system documentation and recommend improvements to development processes and standards.
- Develop and execute software component test procedures and perform quality control on software products.
- Serve as technical lead for multiple software development teams and select development processes with customers and systems engineering.
- Oversee software development teams, delegate programming and testing responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
- Coordinate software installation and monitor equipment functioning against operational specifications.
- Provide on-call support for system operations.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required; the last polygraph must have been completed within the previous five years.
- Twenty years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is required, with four additional years of relevant experience allowed as a substitute.
- Preferred experience includes UI/UX architecture, frontend development, APIs, ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Docker or Podman, AWS cloud infrastructure, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Gradle.
- Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is expected or beneficial.
- Ability to lead software teams, analyze system performance, develop complex algorithms, and ensure quality control is required.
