Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead the design and architecture of backend systems.
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor a robust platform across cloud-native and on-premises environments.
- Implement scalable infrastructure capabilities and automated, version-controlled operations.
- Limit and resource test the platform.
- Facilitate platform delivery and deployment while prioritizing user requirements, productivity, and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or four years of hands-on full-time software engineering or similar experience.
- At least two years of full-time industry experience is typically required to demonstrate the ability to deploy, maintain, and monitor hardware, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters with limited supervision.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph; only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearances.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes container orchestration and Terraform-preferred infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development environments, system architecture and design, on-premises troubleshooting, and source-code management tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Preferred qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph or higher, more than five years of platform engineering or DevOps experience in the cyber operations domain, and customer or end-user communication experience.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team while executing independently in an adaptable, high-trust environment.
