Responsibilities
- Design Azure-hosted solutions that satisfy business and technical requirements.
- Create highly available, scalable, reliable, secure, and performant cloud environments.
- Serve as the Azure Cloud Champion for application development and DevOps teams.
- Coordinate infrastructure architecture reviews and collaborate on security questionnaires, compliance, and firm policies.
- Guide and mentor DevOps and development teams on cloud solution integration.
- Coordinate with vendors and cloud providers to support service delivery.
- Monitor cloud performance and security, optimize resources and costs through automation, and report on service trends.
- Implement disaster recovery and maintain high availability of cloud resources.
- Produce proof-of-concept solutions and maintain current technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud architectures.
- Expertise with Azure Cloud and PaaS offerings including AKS, Azure SQL, APIM, and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and database management.
- Knowledge of source code management concepts, including branching, merging, integration, and versioning.
- Ability to translate traditional SDLC phases into agile development workflows for cloud automation.
- Intermediate-plus English proficiency.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification and experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines are preferred.
