Base Salary
$140k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and support deployment architecture, configuration management, containerization, serverless technologies, and platform services.
- Manage and monitor AWS cloud and virtualized servers for performance, resiliency, and SLA compliance in a PaaS environment.
- Integrate Jenkins or Bamboo with Docker and Kubernetes for automated deployment.
- Perform system architecture, troubleshooting, defect isolation, risk assessment, and analysis of complex software systems.
- Administer and monitor Linux and Windows environments, including instrumentation, performance, and resiliency.
- Support caching, database, search, networking, security, firewall, and PCI compliance technologies.
- Work with customers, developers, testing, project management, and support staff.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 10 years of related experience are required.
- At least 10 years of experience in an Agile development environment and system architecture are required.
- At least 10 years of experience managing and monitoring AWS cloud and virtualized servers in a PaaS environment is required.
- Fluency with Git, Linux environments, object-oriented programming, and at least one of Ruby, C, C++, Go, Python, or Java is required.
- Experience with Windows system administration, monitoring, instrumentation, resiliency, performance, and complex software troubleshooting is required.
- Experience with Jenkins or Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, caching technologies, MySQL, Elasticsearch, security practices, networking protocols, and firewalls is required or preferred.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle models, Agile, DevOps methodologies, and customer deployments is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
