Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into architecture, technical designs, and delivery plans with product owners, business analysts, and clients.
- Lead the design and hands-on development of back-end services using Java, Node.js, or .NET with relevant ORM and data-access frameworks.
- Guide front-end architecture, including micro frontends, and contribute to development using React, Angular, or Vue with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design API contracts and integration patterns between services and external systems.
- Define and promote clean code, SOLID principles, automated testing, secure coding, CI/CD, and documentation practices.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and define guidelines for their safe and effective use.
- Lead code and design reviews, mentor engineers, troubleshoot issues, and improve development processes.
- Present architecture options, trade-offs, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders and team members.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, knowledge-sharing sessions, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations.
- Participate in sales workshops, assess client requirements, and discuss technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one back-end stack—Java, Node.js with TypeScript, or .NET—and a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with microservices, cloud platforms, message brokers, and ORMs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Ability to make and defend technical decisions involving security, performance, and manageability.
- Significant experience designing and implementing successful software products and defining application structure, behavior, interactions, and non-functional properties.
- Ability to analyze business impact and risks associated with architectural decisions.
- Experience conducting code and process reviews and applying software development best practices.
- Hands-on daily experience with AI-assisted development tools and understanding of their code-quality, security, intellectual-property, and other risks.
- Preferred experience with pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, technical solution proposals, effort estimation, client consulting, discovery workshops, and solution workshops.
- Preferred experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences and designing or integrating GenAI/LLM-based solutions, including RAG, AI agents, evaluation, cost, and responsible-AI considerations.
