Responsibilities
- Implement software development lifecycle tasks under the structure and oversight of more experienced staff.
- Develop and enhance full-stack applications across frontend and backend components.
- Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Develop user experiences using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application requirements.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability through testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, and modern application architecture principles.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, managers, project leads, and engineering partners.
- Participate in code and design reviews as appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing full-stack applications with frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and modern application architecture.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Knowledge of payment processing, FinTech, or financial-services technology is a plus.
