Responsibilities
- Design, develop, plan, create, and modify software applications and systems supporting United’s Airport Operations applications.
- Participate in software architecture planning and solve performance and architectural challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain consistency with established software development architecture.
- Analyze requirements from business and UX design teams and introduce technologies and best practices to solve business problems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain platform quality and security.
- Collaborate with the development team in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech. in a related technical field, or equivalent experience, education, or training.
- 1–2 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- Strong foundation in programming paradigms, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and database systems.
- Experience with .NET, Angular, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, and EKS.
- Experience writing quality code, delivering components or applications on time, and performing component and unit testing.
- Preferred: 12 months or more of full-stack application development experience and REST API development using .NET frameworks.
- Preferred: 6 months or more of experience building UI components with Angular or similar TypeScript frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with messaging brokers, DevOps and observability practices, AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini, or Claude Code, and Git/GitHub repositories.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and a strong team-player mindset.
