Base Salary
$151k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and lead Atlas cloud security initiatives such as control plane hardening and data-plane protections.
- Translate risk and product roadmap goals into measurable workstreams.
- Design and review large-scale cloud architectures and define secure reference architectures.
- Embed security into platforms by implementing policies and automation.
- Leverage CSPM and IaC scanning to drive hardening work in Atlas environments.
- Lead assessments for Atlas features and platform changes.
- Partner with detection & response and other security teams during incidents.
- Mentor and contribute to documentation and training for security practices.
- Serve as a visible security leader for Atlas engineering and SRE leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in application, product, and/or cloud security.
- Deep hands-on expertise with cloud security architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Strong track record leading complex security programs from definition through rollout.
- Ability to read and reason about code in languages like Go and Java.
- Experience assessing and securing AI and ML-powered features in cloud environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
