Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to implement enterprise web applications leveraging blockchain technology.
- Own and deliver functional application scope end to end while meeting quality standards.
- Solve solution-engineering challenges and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Apply best practices, design patterns, and reliability, scalability, and performance principles to enterprise and web3 applications.
- Use collaborative tools to manage and deliver work in a distributed team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code and applications.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and resolve or escalate issues to deliver projects on time and with quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is required; a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related discipline is a plus.
- Extensive experience across the full software development and testing lifecycle.
- Proven backend web development expertise with Java and Spring.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade web applications, including asynchronous programming and communication.
- Experience applying best practices and design patterns for reliable, scalable, and performant applications.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing, code reviews, and maintainable code.
- Web3 application development experience is a plus, including familiarity with Web3J, Web3JS, and Solidity.
- Familiarity with DevOps, containerized applications, Git, Jira, Jenkins, and Helm Charts is a plus.
- Financial-services industry experience and familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum are advantages.
