Responsibilities
- Become an expert in the scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments.
- Design, develop, test, document, and ship high-quality products.
- Write most of the code in Go.
- Collaborate with other Teleport engineering teams on scalability and performance.
- Work directly with customers to diagnose and remediate performance issues.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from understanding customer problems through implementation and documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms.
- Extensive experience with Go and willingness to complete a Go coding challenge during the interview process.
- Experience with Linux systems engineering.
- Knowledge of identity management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.
- Builder mentality and experience creating zero-to-one products.
- Intellectual curiosity, collaborative working style, transparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset.
- Significant open-source contributions are a plus.
