$210k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate security processes using cloud-based tools and scripting.
- Lead the adoption of developer tooling for secure system development.
- Build and embed security-first application primitives across products.
- Contribute to AWS security for robust cloud infrastructure protection.
- Provide security guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Regularly identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Communicate risks associated with vulnerabilities to stakeholders.
- Align security strategies with business goals across departments.
- Ensure project plans and security documentation are up to date.
- Participate in retrospectives to improve the organization's security posture.
Requirements
- Proven track record in automating security processes and integrating cloud-based security tools.
- Experience contributing application code that enhances overall security.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security practices and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, and JavaScript.
- Possesses a startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong bias for action and proactive issue resolution.
- Adaptable to assist in all pillars of security across the organization.
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4-5 days a week.
