Base Salary
$210k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate asset management, vulnerability management, and patch management using cloud-based tools and scripting
- Lead adoption of developer security tooling, including linters, static analysis, posture assessment scanners, and query inspectors
- Build and embed security-first application primitives across products
- Contribute to AWS security across the cloud infrastructure
- Provide secure coding guidance and vulnerability assessments throughout the development lifecycle
- Identify, assess, communicate, and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Align security strategies with business goals and maintain security project plans and documentation
- Participate in retrospectives and initiatives to continuously improve organizational security posture
Requirements
- Proven experience automating security processes and integrating cloud-based security tools
- Experience contributing application code through features, bug fixes, or internal security tooling
- Hands-on experience with AWS security practices and tools
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, and JavaScript
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week
