Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity automation solutions.
- Develop automation frameworks, API integrations, orchestration workflows, and self-service capabilities for security operations.
- Automate SOC alert enrichment, triage, investigation, remediation, phishing response, malware response, account-compromise response, and insider-threat workflows.
- Integrate Microsoft Defender, ServiceNow, and third-party security platforms using REST APIs, custom connectors, and automation workflows.
- Automate threat-intelligence enrichment, IOC validation, vulnerability management, remediation tracking, risk visibility, and reporting.
- Develop Microsoft Azure cloud-security automation using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Automation Runbooks, and related cloud-native services.
- Improve incident response efficiency through orchestration, automated containment, and remediation actions.
- Design and deploy agentic AI, RAG applications, AI agents, and autonomous workflows for investigations and remediation.
- Define automation architecture, governance, coding standards, operational metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident responders, security engineers, and business stakeholders to identify and optimize automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Cyber Security, and Cloud Technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, StackStorm, Ansible, ServiceNow, and SOAR platforms.
- Knowledge of web security, infrastructure and platform security, identity and access management, incident response, threat management, security protocols, and open-source technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Cloudflare, Burp Suite, Claroty, Delinea, Prisma Cloud, Qualys, Recorded Future, Microsoft Sentinel, Snowflake, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and integration of traditional applications and data resources.
- Agentic AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, LiteLLM, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, AI Search, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI agent orchestration experience is highly desirable.
- Relevant technical, cybersecurity, automation, and cloud certifications are highly desirable, including CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Red Hat Ansible Automation, and AWS Security Specialty.
