Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with Candid, Silna, Availity, HubSpot, payroll providers, and state Medicaid systems.
- Design and own backend systems for billing, authorizations, eligibility, patient responsibility, payroll, and provider payouts.
- Build automation and AI-powered workflows for credentialing, authorizations, billing operations, compliance, and care coordination.
- Build data pipelines, models, and backend services for company reporting and operational visibility.
- Design systems for provider compensation, payroll integrations, time tracking, PTO, and workforce operations.
- Own platform foundations including APIs, data models, event-driven architectures, security, compliance, reliability, and AI infrastructure.
- Make major technical decisions, communicate directly with customers, and build systems that remain correct as the company scales.
Requirements
- Experience building systems in domains where data integrity, money movement, and complex business rules are critical.
- Strong systems-thinking ability, including modeling states, transitions, invariants, and edge cases.
- Strong product instincts and ability to translate customer needs into simple software over complex underlying logic.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and drive solutions from loosely defined problems.
- High ownership, sound technical judgment, and willingness to remain hands-on with coding.
- Interest in using AI as a first-class part of software development, operations, and healthcare workflows.
- Nice to have production experience building AI-powered products.
- Nice to have experience with LLM workflows, agents, evaluations, or developer tooling.
- Nice to have experience modeling complex operational or financial systems.
- Nice to have healthcare, EHR, insurance, or revenue cycle experience.
- Nice to have early-stage startup experience with ownership of large parts of a product.
