Base Salary
$110k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features and see them through to production.
- Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
- Integrate and build for external and internal APIs.
- Develop new products in PHP and modify existing code for scalability.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and design database schemas.
- Create and code complex backend algorithms.
- Profile and optimize both new and legacy code.
- Ensure cross-device and cross-platform functionality.
- Participate in an agile environment with continuous deployment.
- Engage deeply with the product, mission, and overall success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development with a proven track record.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, including designing relational DB schemas.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles.
- Demonstrable experience with full-stack projects.
- Ability to design, develop, and launch web applications from start to finish.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards building great solutions.
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices.
- Comfortable working outside the context of a framework.
- Experience using git in a team environment.
- Ability to work in the US and travel to the Mountain View office as required.
