Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test enhancements to the Zscaler Nanolog Service powered by the proprietary timeseries database.
- Profile and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and deliver code improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends for evaluation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex database issues reported by internal teams or customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience on Unix/Linux platforms with strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Java.
- Deep expertise in Unix/Linux Operating System internals and command-line utilities.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and experience building scalable systems.
- Deep proficiency in advanced data structures and algorithms.
