Software Engineer (Financial Product and Solution) Insurance - Global Payment - Singapore

- Build overseas financial products and solutions for consumers and global business users.
- Participate in the design, research, development, and innovation of ByteDance’s international payment platform.
- Design future-oriented architectures for complex payment-related systems and account for development, operations, maintenance, and reliability costs.
- Identify business and system bottlenecks and propose improvements to customer experience, performance, and stability.
- Participate in technical project design and reviews, evaluate project quality, and improve team efficiency and R&D quality.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong programming foundation and proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, Golang, C++, or PHP.
- Understanding of distributed systems, caching, messaging, search, and recommendation mechanisms, with the ability to apply distributed technologies to practical problems.
- Experience with online issue diagnosis and problem solving.
- Strong system design and analysis skills, project management ability, cross-team communication, coordination, and execution skills.
- Practical experience building highly available distributed systems with financial security considerations.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a large-scale internet business.
- Fintech or domestic/international online payment experience is preferred.
- International team experience is preferred.
