Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java and enterprise integration technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into integrated solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services using microservices and distributed-systems patterns.
- Work with IBM MQ, Kafka, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and improve overall code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Own deliverables from design and development through testing and deployment.
- Use agentic AI tools for coding, refactoring, code review, testing, and development automation.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot 4.x, Apache Camel, Microservices, JPA, and Spring Cloud Gateway.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git or Bitbucket, Maven or Gradle, Linux, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Conjur or similar secrets-management tools.
- Experience with Devin, Claude CLI, or similar agentic AI development tools is expected.
- TIBCO BW 5.x experience and banking or enterprise application development experience are added advantages.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, technical design, communication, and collaboration skills.
