Responsibilities
- Develop Java services and enterprise-grade applications integrated into end-to-end processing.
- Design and code robust, secure, and efficient APIs, data persistence, and business logic.
- Design and implement microservices using the Spring ecosystem and event-driven architectures with Kafka.
- Provide production support, participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and influence architectural decisions.
- Implement multithreading, concurrency handling, performance optimization, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
- Apply security practices including OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional product, QA, and infrastructure teams while meeting regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java.
- Strong proficiency with Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API design, Kafka or similar messaging platforms, multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing application security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and encryption.
- Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, SOLID, and clean coding practices, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
