Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and operate automated platforms and solutions for AWS deployments in dedicated regions.
- Develop automation and scripting to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Investigate customer issues, root causes, and anomalous metrics.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams and other technical stakeholders on deployment engineering.
- Contribute to architecture, design, reliability, scaling, coding, testing, and operations of software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or five years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least one year of experience contributing to systems architecture and design, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least two years of non-internship professional software development experience using Java, C#, Python, or another programming language.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale data processing systems or distributed systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management about requirements, product features, and technical designs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
