Responsibilities
- Design and shape ServiceNow platform technical architectures and support complex development approaches.
- Implement and tailor ServiceNow functionality using front-end and back-end capabilities to meet customer requirements.
- Build integrations between ServiceNow and external cloud or on-premise systems using SOAP, REST Web Services, JDBC, LDAP, and related technologies.
- Configure ServiceNow tables, forms, lists, reports, workflows, email notifications, scripts, access controls, and data.
- Analyze system performance, produce technical documentation, and support testing through test plans, scripts, cases, and defect reports.
- Advise customers as a trusted technical expert and collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, architects, developers, and IT staff.
- Support customers through successful ServiceNow implementations and ongoing platform use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant professional experience with the ServiceNow platform, including areas such as GRC/IRM, ITOM, HRSD, and SecOps.
- Experience consulting with external customers and working through the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through go-live.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow technical implementations, system performance analysis, documentation, and administration.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, AngularJS, ServiceNow Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Access Control, Validation Scripts, and background scripts.
- Knowledge of ITSM and working frameworks or practices such as DevOps, IT4IT, and ITIL.
- Experience writing test plans, test scripts, and test cases and generating reports in defect-reporting tools.
- Strong customer-service, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, self-learning, and independent-working skills.
- Fluency in Dutch or French and English; willingness and capacity to travel when necessary.
