Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical work of two remote Software Engineers and support steady progress toward sprint objectives.
- Develop production software using C#, modern .NET, and Azure Function Apps.
- Build high-volume integration and messaging components meeting latency, throughput, scalability, resilience, and fault-tolerance requirements.
- Conduct detailed code reviews focused on correctness, maintainability, performance, and alignment with agreed designs.
- Resolve technical blockers, mentor team members, and provide practical technical guidance.
- Translate architectural specifications into implementation work and act as the operational link with the core architecture team.
Requirements
- Substantial hands-on experience in C#/.NET backend engineering.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating Software Engineers, including remote teams.
- Practical experience building serverless backend components with Azure Function Apps.
- Experience engineering systems with demanding message-processing and enterprise integration requirements.
- Strong code review, technical problem-solving, and delivery coordination skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English and confidence collaborating across locations with architects and remote engineers.
- Applicants must currently reside in Belgium and be legally authorized to work in Belgium.
