Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable Python backend applications.
- Develop FastAPI or Flask APIs and REST API services.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support deployment management.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams.
- Work in a hybrid model with two days per week in Capgemini offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Python backend development.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Flask and REST API development.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment management.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS and container services.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database management and optimization.
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- English language proficiency is mandatory.
- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark is preferred.
- Understanding of cloud-native application design and deployment is preferred.
