Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, construct, test, implement, and support new or revised application systems.
- Develop and optimize Java microservices, RESTful APIs, and single-page applications using React or Angular.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO, and RBAC.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests and support debugging, tuning, and performance optimization.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, and project implementation activities.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support business applications.
- Define operating standards and processes, follow required procedures, and provide guidance to new or lower-level analysts.
- Support application security, post-implementation analysis, compliance, and risk management activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and familiarity with consulting or project management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Java, object-oriented programming, Spring, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases such as Oracle or Sybase.
- Experience developing single-page applications with React or Angular and state management.
- Practical Docker experience and a basic understanding of container orchestration.
- Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO, and RBAC authentication and authorization.
- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Java microservices, JMS, and Solace.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and tools including TeamCity, Jenkins, SonarLint, and Black Duck.
- Knowledge of WebLogic, Tomcat, Git, web performance monitoring, logging, and error-tracking tools.
- Experience with low-latency, high-availability transactional applications is a plus.

- Salary range of $94,300.00–$141,500.00.
