Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Implement backend and frontend solutions and contribute to technical and application design.
- Promote engineering best practices across coding, testing, build, deployment, and software maintenance.
- Participate in Scrum activities, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Develop robust cloud-native applications, event-driven components, databases, and APIs.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, QA, architects, global team members, business stakeholders, operations, and production support.
- Stay current with development practices and emerging technologies such as Gen AI and DORA metrics.
- Take ownership of technical solutions, manage changing priorities, and contribute to team strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and in mixed, virtual, and diverse teams.
- Backend development experience with Java and modern inversion-of-control frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Frontend development experience with React or Angular, plus strong JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge.
- Expertise designing and developing robust, scalable applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.
- Experience designing and developing databases on a relational database management system platform.
- Proficiency in API development and application security best practices, including OAuth, TLS, and PKI.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, ownership, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Financial services experience and knowledge of resilient enterprise systems are desirable.

- Annual base salary range of $94,300.00 to $141,500.00.
