Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support new or revised enterprise application systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, and application development activities.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and resilient Java applications.
- Build cloud-native applications using technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Develop event-driven architecture solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Design databases, develop APIs, and apply application security best practices.
- Monitor development phases and provide user and operational support.
- Recommend programming solutions and consult with users, clients, and technology teams.
- Define operating standards and processes while ensuring required procedures and controls are followed.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, advisor, or coach to junior analysts and other team members.
- Assess technology and business risks and support compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Expert-level Java development skills and experience building enterprise-level applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, database development, API development, and application security.
- Knowledge of OAuth, TLS, PKI, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and changing priorities, and operate with limited direct supervision.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, judgment, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Redis, GemFire, React, or Angular is desirable.
