Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kotlin.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles, DevOps practices, and OpenTelemetry-based observability.
- Manage application data with MongoDB to support reliable, high-performing backend services.
- Lead feasibility studies, cost estimates, technical planning, and delivery of application systems.
- Analyze business and system processes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
- Translate requirements with business users and technology teams into effective programming solutions.
- Implement post-deployment security measures to protect system design and data integrity.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and advise senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or applications programming.
- Hands-on backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Kotlin.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and distributed microservices architecture.
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles, DevOps practices, and OpenTelemetry observability.
- Experience managing and delivering technology projects from concept through implementation.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Python experience for scripting, automation, or engineering tooling is beneficial.
