Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Design, build, test, implement, monitor, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop security measures and authentication and authorization capabilities for applications.
- Debug, tune, and optimize Java microservice components for transactional, low-latency, and highly available applications.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and support application performance monitoring, logging, and error tracking.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and provide user and operational support.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and help define operating standards and procedures.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, operational, and business risks in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend Java development experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Java, object-oriented programming, design patterns, coding standards, and modularity.
- In-depth understanding of Java fundamentals and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, SQL, application servers, and web servers.
- Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO, and RBAC authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright and comprehensive automated testing.
- Experience debugging, tuning, and optimizing Java microservices.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery environments, including TeamCity or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with SonarLint, Black Duck, Git, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
- Understanding of web performance monitoring, logging, and error-tracking tools.
- Experience with transactional applications supporting low latency and high availability is a plus.

- Primary location full-time salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00 per year.
