Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end solution architecture and ownership for Fidelity Institutional Technology and the Institutional Wealth Advisory space.
- Create architecture and design artifacts, articulate designs to stakeholders, and support implementation by technology teams.
- Partner with product owners, technology teams, peer architects, and multiple squads on modernization, issue resolution, roadmaps, and strategic technical solutions.
- Evaluate, select, recommend, and configure technologies while assessing business direction, risks, benefits, and long-term capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to refactor business processes, improve customer experience, and rationalize capabilities.
- Manage third-party vendor solutions and ensure secure, compliant, and high-performing integrations.
- Build and deploy applications using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience in architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions across multiple platforms, frameworks, and languages.
- Experience with client-side technologies including Angular, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and web application technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of APIs, user interfaces, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and emerging technologies.
- Experience providing technical leadership, preparing design artifacts, implementing solutions, and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, cloud technologies, and cloud application development using AWS, Azure, or both.
- Experience managing third-party vendor solutions and secure, compliant integrations.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, presentation, relationship-building, and business-to-technology translation skills.
- Cloud certification is preferred.
