Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and develop key product areas across frontend, backend, and APIs
- Build and ship end-to-end features spanning user-facing experiences, backend services, and integrations
- Design and develop high-quality product experiences for AI products
- Build and evolve backend services and application logic for core workflows
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to create clear and impactful user experiences
- Contribute to frontend architecture, backend design, coding standards, API design, and system integration
- Debug and improve product performance, reliability, responsiveness, and quality
- Help shape engineering practices and culture as an early member of the team
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience building and shipping production software as a full stack engineer
- Strong experience with modern frontend systems and backend services
- Deep expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks and experience with Python-based systems or similar
- Strong API design and integration skills
- Comfort with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, CI/CD workflows, and performance monitoring
- Strong product judgment and a track record of building thoughtful user-facing software
- Active use of AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering leverage and efficiency
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical judgment in a fast-moving startup environment
- Must be located in the NYC area, work in-office three days per week, and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is preferred
- Experience with analytics products, data-heavy applications, complex B2B workflows, early-stage startups, founding engineering, or the AI/LLM ecosystem is preferred
