Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot application integration, configuration, and operations for load balancers, Apache/Nginx web servers, and Tomcat application servers.
- Use Python and shell scripting for infrastructure and application automation.
- Manage configuration automation and deployment workflows with Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Flux.
- Operate cloud-hosted applications using Azure or AWS, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Support GraphDB, SPARQL, Kafka, Redis, Airflow, Hadoop/ELK, and observability tooling.
- Implement or support application security hardening, encryption, identity, authentication, and authorization integrations.
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for applications and middleware platforms.
Requirements
- Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Unix, storage, and networking.
- Expert-level Python scripting and experience with shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with application and middleware integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and specialization.
- Experience managing large web-based n-tier applications in secure cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, graph databases and SPARQL, Kafka, Redis, Airflow, and observability tools.
- Experience with identity protocols and integrations including OIDC, OAuth, SAML, and LDAP.
- System architecture or developer experience and prior work as an application or middleware specialist.
- A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or information technology, or a master's degree in software engineering.
- English proficiency at the required C2 level.
- Experience in a global financial organization is advantageous.
