Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, mathematical analysis, digital signal processing, communication systems, and software engineering concepts to embedded software development.
- Develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software and firmware for real-time tactical radio control.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or have completed one within the last 12 months in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, or Digital Arts & Sciences.
- Understand time-domain versus frequency-domain analysis, filter structures, and modulation/coding algorithms.
- Preferred ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification, or a similar certification for another cloud provider, is preferred.
