Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for PSI Metals MES in client engagements, pre-sales activities, and global proposals.
- Lead RFP responses, effort estimations, solution architecture, proposal writing, solutioning workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Gather client requirements and map them to PSI Metals capabilities or hybrid MES solutions through fit-gap workshops.
- Provide technical and functional leadership across multiple MES implementation projects, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and go-live.
- Mentor junior consultants and guide teams through complex MES configuration, integration, and deployment challenges.
- Define end-to-end solution blueprints with architects, ERP leads, and shopfloor automation teams.
- Develop fit-gap solutions and customization strategies for requirements not covered by out-of-the-box PSI Metals functionality.
- Coordinate onshore and offshore teams across global pre-sales and delivery activities.
- Build relationships with clients, operational managers, and C-level stakeholders while presenting complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES and 9+ years with PSI Metals MES modules, including Production Planning & Scheduling, Quality Management, Material Tracking, and Yield Management.
- Hands-on experience with at least two full-cycle MES implementations covering requirements analysis, technical design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
- Experience with other MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Aveva MES/Wonderware, SAP ME, SAP MII, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in RFP analysis, effort estimation, solution design documentation, and client presentations.
- Experience integrating PSI Metals and other MES systems with ERP platforms, preferably SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
- Deep knowledge of interfaces with shopfloor systems, including SCADA, historians, L1/L2 automation, and weighing and measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with flat files, web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and database interfaces.
- Strong understanding of metals manufacturing processes such as hot rolling, cold rolling, casting, pickling, annealing, and finishing lines.
- Understanding of end-to-end integration across ERP, MES, shopfloor automation, and Cloud/IoT environments.
- Strong client relationship, communication, leadership, team management, prioritization, and delivery skills.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
