Responsibilities
- Coordinate QA efforts within the game area and manage daily operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts, promoting accountability and growth.
- Develop and maintain test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, producers, and designers to integrate quality standards.
- Analyze data and defect trends to provide insights and drive process improvements.
- Lead release readiness testing and support incident triage and post-release analysis.
Requirements
- 4+ years of QA experience in the video game industry, with 1-2 years in a lead role.
- Proven experience overseeing QA for complex gameplay systems or live service titles.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and risk-based testing.
- Skilled in planning and coordinating QA efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in JIRA, Testmo, and version control or build management tools.
- Familiarity with Unity and experience testing across multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and support QA team members effectively.
- Experience collaborating with external QA partners or co-development studios.
- Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and work a hybrid schedule.
